simplykeiko: EXACTLY. Shinji was a cute character and I can see why a lot of people like him. I never understood why people were so hard on him..he had to face SO much for a boy his age. People don’t seem to put themselves in the character’s shoes or they forget he’s only as kid. For most viewers, they are just watching a show and the character NEEDS to be badass and know what to do at every turn. Shinji didn’t know, and he was very scared. I also liked that Shinji is a boy and made a character with a personality like Asuka a girl. :D
